Air Force in one of the most respected professions all over the world. Indian air force boasts of finely trained and fearless men. The Indian Air Force is an important wing of the defense forces that rule the skies and bravely guards the country’s honor against any external threats.
The Indian Air force requires love for the country, an appetite for adventure and the zeal to succeed. There are numerous options for those interested in joining the Air Forces. After class 12th, the interested candidates can opt for National Defense Academy (NDA) and the graduates can give the Combined Defense Services Exam (CDSE).
The physical requirements include
• For the flying branch – Minimum height requirement is 162.5cm and leg length 99-120 cm.
• The candidate should not wear glasses and should not be color/night blind.
• The eye sight required is 6/6 and 6/9 for bad eye correctable to 6/6. The candidate should not suffer from Myopia and Astigmatism must not exceed +0.75.
• The candidate must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disability which is likely to interfere with efficiently performing the duty.
