Food Corporation of India or FCI was setup under the Food Corporation’s Act 1964, in order to fulfill the objectives of the Food Policy. It looks after the following objectives-
• Effective price support operations for safeguarding the interests of the farmers.
• Distribution of food grains throughout the country for public distribution system.
• Maintaining satisfactory level of operational and buffer stocks of food grains to ensure National Food Security.
The Food Corporation of India (FCI) conducts the recruitment exams consisting of written exam and interview for the post of Assistant Grade III for its General, Depot, Technical and Account Cadres. FCI offers a central government job opportunity in the form of Assistant Grade III and several other posts.
