The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is India’s central agency authorized to conduct various prestigious exams like Civil Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, Engineering Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Geologists’ Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination.
The UPSC’s charter is granted by the Constitution of India.
