CISF AC (EXE) LDCE
UPSC holds an annual exam for recruiting candidates in the CISF department. It is a limited departmental competitive exam. The standard of the exam is very high and has to be prepared well, to maximize the chance of clearing the exam.
Division or Section in the paper:
There are two divisions or sections in the paper, Section A or General Ability, and Section B or Professional Skills.
Pattern of the paper:
The paper has a total of one hundred and fifty Objective questions. Each has a maximum of four options, and candidates have to choose any one. Both the sections, Section A and Section B, carry seventy-five objective questions.
Markings evaluated by the Examination Board:
The total marks offered by the paper are three hundred. Each of the questions when answered correctly is awarded with two marks. There is no negative marking in the paper, and questions which are not attempted are treated with zero narks.
Time allotted for the examination:
The maximum time offered by the Examination Board in order to complete the exam is two and a half hours.
