Indian Air Force (IAF) Education Instructor

For the post of Education Instructor in Indian Air Force the applications are invited from only male Indian citizens. The age for B.A. /B.Sc. candidates with B.Ed. 21-24 years and for M.A./M.Sc. 21-27 years (as on specified dates).

Minimum Educational Qualification-

A candidate should have passed B.Sc. (Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science) with 50% marks and B.Ed. or M.A. (English) /M.Sc. (Mathematics/Physics/Computer Science) with minimum II Class.

Selection Procedure-

Interview Test/ Personality Test eligible candidates will be called to appear in a written (objective type) test in English, Current Affairs and General Awareness at one of the specified centers. Those who qualify this test will have to give a subjective test in English comprising essay and paragraph writing. Question papers of Current Affairs and General Awareness will be in Hindi and English. These can be answered either in Hindi or English. Interview and Medical Examination will be conducted on the following day. The candidates who qualify both tests have to undergo Medical Examination on the following day.

Physical Standards-

Minimum Height- 152.5 cms. Chest- Minimum unexpanded chest should be 75 cms with minimum range of expansion of 5 cms. Vision- Visual acuity at least 6/12 in each eye without glasses correctable to 6/6 in one eye and 6/36 in the other eye with glasses. Myopia not exceeding 7 Diopters in any meridian, Color Vision- Defective unsafe (CP4). Normal Hearing and General Health free from all communicable diseases and medical or surgical deformities and no history of fits or psychiatric ailment. Physically and mentally fit for duty anywhere in the world. Selected candidates will be enrolled as an Airman in the rank of Sergeant and will be given a salary and other allowances as admissible under existing rules.
