Indian Air Force (IAF) Commissioned Officers

Indian Air Force invites enterprising and adventurous people to join the Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officer in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branch. IAF organizes Air Force Common Admission Test for this vacancy. Eligible and interested applicants can apply for AFCAT through an online application form.

AFCAT Eligibility Criteria-

Age Limit-

Applicant’s age should be between 18 years to 28 years as in January in the year of application.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Education Qualification-

Applicants should have passed their graduation in any stream or B.E./B.Tech. for Flying Branch post.

For Technical Branch post applicants should have their 4 year degree or cleared Sections A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India.

Applicants should have their Graduation/PG Degree in any stream for Ground Duty Branches.

Eligible applicants will be selected on the basis of their performance in AFCAT followed by Intelligence test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Test and Interview and for Flying Branch applicants need to appear in the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT).
