ISTC Entrance Exam
Indo Swiss Entrance Exam also known as CSIO Entrance Exam is conducted by CSIO-ISTC, Chandigarh to provide admission to nearly 108 candidates (both boys and girls) in:
• Three Year Diploma Course in Instrument Technology followed by Advanced Diploma in Die and Mould Making (4 years), and
• Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics and Industrial Automation (4 years) at CSIO-ISTC, Chandigarh.
The admission is open to both Boys and Girls who have passed their qualifying examination from recognized boards/school in India. Admission will be granted on the basis of merit in the Entrance Test to be conducted by ISTC.
Out of total number 108 seats
• 27% is reserved for OBC (Non-creamy layer only)
• 15% for SC
• 7.5% for ST
• 3% is reserved for Disabled Candidates (physically challenged by disability in one leg or one arm and partially deaf persons).
Vacant seats of appropriate categories will be filled as per Government of India norms. Reserved seats for Disabled candidates shall be filled as per merit list of the physically challenged candidates out of the seats pertaining to the category to which the candidate belongs i.e. General, OBC, SC or ST. These candidates would be required to produce a medical certificate from Government Medical Officer authorized for the purpose.
Indo Swiss Entrance Exam Eligibility
Aspiring candidates should have appeared/appearing in Matriculation examination with Mathematics, Science and English as subjects from the State Board/Central Board i.e. CBSE, ICSE/National Open Schools.
Those born on or after 1st September 1995 1st September 1992 in case of SC/ST candidates are eligible to apply for Indo Swiss Entrance Exam 2014.
